1. it overheats at idle unless the heat is on.
2. the tires are about 10 years old. One of them doesn’t hold air if it sits for over a month
3. paint is not really relevant
4. has a little bit of rust
5. Dents on all corners.
I was expecting much more, but it’s actually pretty solid. Another problem is that I’m 200 miles away from it right now and I haven’t driven it since December.

That’s horrible. Time to sell. How much you want for it?

I only seem to drive it once a year now during the winter when it’s cold enough to where it can keep cool when it’s moving.
Can’t really justify the $30 part and hour and a half of replacing it.

Too much.
I can’t sell a car that’s been in the family for 51 years.

You sound like me replacing my water pump.

It’s actually still registered to my dad even though he hasn’t touched it for about 4 years now. I’ll get it titled in my name once I graduate and have my own place to keep it. Right now it’s parked next to a shipping container at a truck yard.
I try to avoid spending unnecessary money on it since I know it will just sit after I fix it and I’ll have to replace it again by the time I get back to it.
